The Simple Truths Revealed

Before I tell you the simple things in common among most diet, weight loss, and exercise programs let me warn you they will seem too simple. When my friend told me what they were I certainly didn’t believe him.

Having tried to get healthy, I new it wasn’t easy to look good and to lose weight. I have tried and failed many times!

The problem is though the Answer Wasn’t Easy, But it Was Simple.

The truth is that the things he saw over and over again aren’t easy at all. However the steps you need to take to get in shape, lose weight, have more energy, and to look great are very simple.

There is a big difference between simple and easy.

My friend tells me that when he realized how simple it was to lose weight and to change how you look he couldn’t believe it. He said he wished that his joke about the secret to losing belly fat was the answer he found, because then things would have been really easy. Instead he discovered the simple steps he needed to reach his goal of looking great for the wedding, and sadly they take a lot of work.

He also discovered when he followed these simple steps that these things were also the key to being able to look good all the time, to having more energy, and to being able to keep weight off at will!

So he followed these simple steps and was able to look amazing for the wedding! Maybe even better than the groom himself (he said it depends whose wife you talked to!).

Since the wedding he has continued to follow these simple steps to allow himself to keep looking great, to eat well, feel healthy and have lots of energy for everything he wants to do.

Now that he understands these simple things and how to use them to lose weight, look amazing and to keep feeling great he has no need or desire to ever go back to anything less. He knows that feeling and looking great is so much better than anything else he could possibly eat or do that would lead to him not feeling like superman!

Here are some of the basic things he told me about and he honestly can’t hardly stop talking about whenever the subject of health, weight loss, or looking good comes up.

Weight Loss is Actually All About Simple Math

It sounds far to simple but weight loss is all about the math, addition and subtraction. You need to eat less calories than you need and use to lose weight, and to gain weight you need to eat more than you use. Not much else.

The crazy thing is that most diet programs and weight loss plans don’t discuss the simplicity of this. They create odd systems or tell you to do what feels right (honestly right now it feels right to eat a package of Double Stuff Oreos, so I probably need to avoid doing what feels right!).

My friend  realized he needed to use more calories than he ate so his body would use calories he had carefully stored up for energy. Simply focusing on this lead to him being able to consistently drop weight till he reach his ideal weight for his health and good looks!

Diet Will Only Decrease Your Size Not Make You Look Amazing

This was kind of hard to hear.

My friend thought he would be able to just lose weight and end up with amazing muscle definition and abs. Sadly he hadn’t been working out for years so he had very little muscle at all to show off, not much definition either.

His diet alone was doing a very good job at dropping weight but it was only creating a smaller slimmer version of himself. He looked and felt better than the fatter version of himself but he learned that he needed to exercise to reshape his body.

For some people weight loss is all they need to look great because you do have a great body underneath all that fat. Other people will also need to use the next step to start really looking great.

Exercise is For Increasing the Effectiveness of a Diet and For Reshaping Your Body

Once again my friend had mistakenly used exercise to try and lose weight but never had used exercise and diet together at the same time. Together they can be used to reshape your body into something amazing. Overall though exercise is secondary and is best used to increase the effectiveness of your diet.

My friend also learned that even if you exercise and workout for more than 10 hours a week you can still easily eat enough to gain weight and build up your fat levels. So just remember that exercise will never be able to overcome a bad diet.

The interesting thing about my friend is that now he has learned the fundamentals we talk about above he wonders why other people have such a hard time losing weight or reaching whatever health goal they have.
