I mean one bite really can’t be that bad can it?
What about some of the things we eat, one bite really isn’t that bad is it?
Today we aren’t talking about dessert or junk food.
We are talking about toxic substances that are disguised as “food.”
Foods You Just Need to Avoid
I usually like to write very informative posts that are back up by research.
Today I am writing what I hope falls into this category, but the research is my own.
I am constantly testing things out on myself, my wife and my kids. Fortunately for them these tests help us learn how to be healthier, and won’t kill them.
This is how these little experiments work. We try eating different things, going without things, and change things up to see if we can find a positive difference.
Here are the things we feel better with less or none of.
- High Fructose Corn Syrup
- Artificial Sweeteners
- Artificial Dyes & Colors
- Artificial Flavorings
- Artificial Preservatives
- Excessive Amounts of Grains (this is for adults)
All of the above lead to a lower quality of health, energy, and may be the key to other diseases and problems that are prevalent in society today.
The first 4 things on that list are not natural. They are man made chemicals, like pesticides. When you eat them they interact with your internal chemistry in ways that your body was not meant to have to deal with.
Reducing or removing these from my children’s diets has resulted in a dramatic change in health and behavior. Potential ADD, ADHD and other attention related issue have literally disappeared with the reduced intake of the above items.
How to Live Healthier and Years Longer
I suggest you start eating a lot less of these.
If you can avoid them completely then you will be better for it.
These are nearly impossible to live without because they are everywhere. We started by simply trying to avoid processed foods.
Is this a bit radical? I don’t think so, my kids and my health is on the line. So is yours.
If I knew that not eating something on that list would ensure I can live longer, I would do it.
I am betting you would to.
Not eating as much of these might even make it easier to lose weight.
You make that happen day by day.
What foods have you noticed affect you negatively?
